Diagnosis and Treatment
We've invested in some of the latest technology available to help find and treat heart disease in its early stages. If caught early, heart disease can be treated painlessly and effectively in most cases.

Our cardiac catheterization lab features advanced equipment, including a cardiac imaging system, the AXIOM Artis FC with Tempur-Pedic® mattress.  The technologically advanced AXIOM system quickly provides physicians with high-quality images, leading to faster, more accurate diagnosis and effective treatment for patients and their hearts.

Frankfort Regional offers an array of services for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases and related disorders. Our state-of-the-art cardiovascular ultrasound system is the world's first system to give clinicians fully integrated, real-time 4D and multi-dimensional imaging capabilities. 

Frankfort Regional is also treating peripheral vascular disease (PVD). The procedure removes collected plaque, unlike angioplasty and stenting, and restores blood flow to the lower extremities.

The fully equipped special procedures lab is continually upgraded to ensure the best patient outcomes for cardiovascular imaging. The arterial Doppler system is a non-invasive vascular testing machine that measures the upper and lower arterial and venous pressures in the body to screen for potential peripheral vascular disease. 

We also maintain a full service arteriography suite for performing catheterizations of arteries of the brain, heart and extremities. 

Rehabilitation and Aftercare
Once you leave the hospital, our care team continues to work with you. Our comprehensive plan includes healing the whole person, and may include counseling services, a rehab program and follow-up care in your home.
